We travel throughout Montreal and within approximately 60 km of the city to prepare your decoration directly at your location.
Laval, Longueuil, Brossard, Terrebonne, Repentigny, Vaudreuil-Dorion, the South Shore, the North Shore and several destinations in the Laurentians can all fall within our service area.
The same package price applies throughout our service area. Close to the 60 km limit? Simply send us your city and we’ll confirm whether we can travel there.

Questions & Policies
Simple and transparent terms so your booking, installation and surprise can all go smoothly.
01 How do the deposit and payment work? +
A non-refundable 50% deposit officially confirms your booking and reserves the date for you. Once received, we begin preparing your installation and personalized items.
The remaining balance is due on the day of your service, before installation begins. Installation cannot begin while a balance remains unpaid.
If you need to cancel your booking, the deposit is not refunded. However, its value may be kept as a DreamDecor credit for 45 days from the date of cancellation, in accordance with our date-change policy below.
If DreamDecor has to cancel for a reason within our control, your deposit will be refunded in full.
02 Can I cancel or change my date? +
We recommend checking our availability before finalizing your hotel, Airbnb or chalet reservation. A date is officially reserved once the deposit has been received.
A date change requested at least 7 days before the service is free of charge, subject to availability. The deposit may be transferred one time only to a new date.
To keep the value of the deposit, the new service must take place within 45 days of the originally booked date. The deposit remains non-refundable.
Any date-change request made less than 7 days before the service is subject to DreamDecor’s approval and availability. Depending on how much preparation has already been completed, transferring the deposit may not be possible.
Any new date more than 45 days after the originally booked date is considered a new reservation. In that case, the original deposit cannot be transferred and a new 50% deposit is required to reserve the new date.
All new dates are subject to availability. Popular or fully booked dates cannot be guaranteed.
03 How does room access work? +
We require approximately 2 hours of uninterrupted access to complete a full installation. Our installations typically take place between 5 PM and 8 PM.
An installation in less than 2 hours may sometimes be possible, but it must be approved before booking and additional fees may apply.
The client is responsible for arranging our access to the space: key, access code, front-desk authorization, host permission or another method agreed upon in advance.
If an access delay caused by the venue or client reduces the installation time available to us, we’ll do our best with the remaining time, but the setup may need to be adjusted without a refund.
04 How do you keep the surprise a secret? +
Discretion is part of the service. We avoid any communication or presence that could reveal the surprise before you arrive.
During installation, we normally work alone in the room. In a private residence, someone may be allowed to remain when this has been arranged with us in advance.
Need extra discretion? We can communicate by text only, use a code word, or communicate through a trusted contact chosen by you.
05 What about venue rules and damages? +
The client is responsible for confirming that decorations are permitted by the hotel, Airbnb host, property owner or venue manager.
Any venue-imposed fees, penalties or cleaning charges resulting from its own policies remain the client’s responsibility.
We use installation methods designed to minimize damage whenever possible. DreamDecor is not responsible for the pre-existing condition of the room or for decorations that are moved, altered or removed after we leave.
06 How do personalized engravings work? +
Engraving text, initials and dates must be confirmed in writing at least 72 hours before your service.
Please carefully verify all spelling, dates and information you provide. Once an item has been engraved, the personalization is permanent.
Personalized items are non-refundable because they are made specifically for your reservation and cannot be resold.
07 What if someone has an allergy or sensitivity? +
Please tell us about any known allergy or sensitivity when booking, including sensitivities to latex, fragrance, flowers or petals.
We can adapt the installation whenever reasonably possible. DreamDecor cannot be held responsible for a reaction related to a sensitivity that was not disclosed to us in writing before the service.
08 What happens if there is a major unforeseen event? +
If an event outside our control prevents the service — severe weather, road closure, venue cancellation, emergency or a similar situation — we’ll offer to move your decoration to the next available date.
In this situation, the deposit remains non-refundable but is fully transferable to the newly agreed date.
Payment of the deposit confirms that you have read and accepted the policies applicable to your booking.
